Trauma Informed Healing & Spirituality

Trauma-informed coaching involves working with the understanding that most individuals have been affected by adverse experiences at some point in their lives. This knowledge allows coaches to engage in thought-provoking and creative conversations that are client-driven, inspiring personal and professional growth. Regulation of one’s nervous system, paves the way for profound healing from trauma and unlocking a life of wholeness and well-being. Being trauma-informed is not merely a temporary approach that coaches adopt as needed; it is a way of being. Trauma-informed coaching involves recognizing the presence of past trauma, understanding its current effects on clients, and utilizing their resilience to guide them towards solutions and growth.

Trauma leaves its mark on our bodies and nervous systems, a result of what we’ve endured without the presence of a compassionate witness. Whether it was a singular challenging event, a tumultuous upbringing, or a lack of empathetic support during a difficult period, our nervous system enters a state of dysregulation, triggering a prolonged freeze or fight/flight response. This state of being can drain our energy and fill life with fear. Yet, there is hope. Healing is within reach when we embark on an inside-out journey to release the grip of trauma and restore balance.
